A Rimini una Conferenza internazionale sulla formazione nel turismo
Lo scorso 16 e 17 ottobre 2009 l’Università di Rimini, Facoltà di Economia in collaborazione con la Scuola Superiore di Scienze Turistiche, ha ospitato una conferenza internazionale sull’alta formazione per il turismo dal titolo “High tourism education”, con la partecipazione di rappresentanti di università e scuole di alta formazione turistica inserite nella rete dell’Unesco e riconosciute dalle Nazioni Unite (certificazione TedQual).
Obiettivo scambiarsi esperienze e percorsi realizzati negli ultimi anni, ponendo il focus sia sulla ricerca sia sulle comunità locali, due aspetti che raramente vengono considerati insieme.
L’Università di Rimini è stata la prima in Italia ad aver istituito un corso in economia del turismo, che è uno dei tre a livello nazionale ad aver ottenuto la certificazione TedQual delle Nazioni Unite. Ospitare il primo appuntamento internazionale del genere, tra l’altro in contemporanea e in collaborazione con il Ttg, è stata anche un’occasione per promuovere la naturale vocazione al turismo della città e sensibilizzare gli operatori locali sull’importanza della formazione.
La professoressa Patrizia Battilani, componente del Comitato scientifico che ha organizzato la Conferenza, ha affermato: “Questi tre giorni vedranno Rimini affrontare tutti i temi cruciali del turismo di domani. Rimini, una delle maggiori città del turismo italiano, è giusto che diventi questo tipo di laboratorio”.
